This whole-house transformation expanded two dormers and finished the basement to add 1,500 square feet of living space — two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room — while opening up the floor plan across every level. Extensive use of built-in cabinetry added valuable storage and new windows and skylights infused every space with natural light. Castello Design Build led schematic design, finish design, and construction, replacing every major system, from insulation and plumbing to electrical, HVAC, and irrigation, and equipped the home with smart features spanning A/V, security, networking, and automated exterior lighting.
